A Big Challenge That All Bloggers Face

When someone puts time, love, and effort into anything in life, it feels good to be appreciated and acknowledged. When you do anything positive, inspirational, or even something that can provide one to better themselves and improve in who they are as a person and in their life, it’s a good thing. But the problem is that many times people don’t appreciate others and recognize them for what they’re doing or view it as being helpful. People can be overly critical and solely give bad feedback and unconstructive criticism at times, and sometimes, quite a bit.

Unfortunately, a lot of people can be cruel and simply hate others for succeeding and doing well in their life. As we all know, there’s nothing uglier than someone that’s jealous, envious, and simply hating on others for no reason. It’s a big form of bullying, despite the fact that most bloggers have to deal with this type of negativity via social media and on the Internet. Bullying is bullying, and regardless of where someone is bullied whether it’s in school, social media, or in any other place. People that bully others are doing so, not realizing the extent of the damage that it can usually cause others.

It’s unfortunate, but just like anyone else, bloggers need to deal with a good amount of haters and people that simply  don’t want you to succeed in what you’re trying to accomplish. Just remember this fellow bloggers, when people hate on you, don’t support you, or don’t show you love and appreciation for what you’re trying to achieve, you don’t need them. You should only surround yourself with good, positive, and enlightened people, even if it’s through social media. As most bloggers are well aware, social media plays a big role in what we do.

People should be loving and supportive of what you do, and if they’re not, ignore them. Don’t waste your time battling with words or commenting back on negativity. instead, stay productive , and focus on what you’re doing. When people comment bad things on your articles and posts, they’re only making themselves look bad. Whether people are strangers, acquaintances, family, or friends, you should only surround yourself with the people that will provide positive and good vibes, and only want you to succeed in life.

There will always be people that will judge you for doing things in life. But, it’s important to avoid negativity and toxic people whenever possible. Otherwise, it can affect you in a negative way. This especially goes for people that are more of the sensitive types.  Don’t let others tear you down, break your spirits, or take you out of your determined work mode. You should learn to take nasty comments, rude people, and unconstructive criticism that comes from negative and toxic people and brush it off of your shoulder, because you don’t need that kind of negativity.

People can try hard to tear you down again and again, and take away from your success and happiness, but they can only try so hard, because when you’re meant to be successful in life, and you’re willing to work for it, you will be. There’s nothing anyone can do to stop you if you put your mind to it. Stay positive fellow bloggers, and enjoy some positive vibes sent your way.

Lots of love, xoxo

  1. Well said, Anne.

I’ve been blogging for many years now and have a great support system. However, there are also those who like to leave rude comments and try to put a bit of negativity into your life. As Bloggers, we need to learn how to shrug it off and press on.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. Great to remind us of this Anne, There’s inherent vulnerability in risking putting things out on social media, and we have to ready for what others might say. I’ve certainly gotten my fair share of criticism. Good post. Good inspiration.
